Here we have an authority on visual communication named Dave Gray. He’s the founder and CEO of XPLANE, and writes a blog on communication called Communication Nation, and manages a web-based visual thinking school.

He’s made information design his focus; and has written a series of illustrated books called Xplanations, designed with a visual learning approach that gets anyone up to speed on a topic in ‘about an hour’.

I’m glad he added me as a contact on flickr. I added him too. He’s a fascinating entrepreneur with a lot of energy, and ample qualifications in information design. His books remind me of Steve Krug’s “Don’t Make Me Think”.
