High Time for Some Positive News

I know I haven’t posted here much lately; and that which I have posted has been devoid of any real personality.

Let me inject some of that now. Please accept my apologies, dear readers, yes, you, way in the back there, the guy with the piece of gum stretched out of your mouth! Have you been there all this time?

Okay, so, I could try to excuse myself by saying that I have been concentrating on all those other ‘Works-In-Progress’ you see listed over there on the right, but that would be a lie. No, they just all sit out there on the Web sputtering and fizzling. (I looked those names up by the way, “sputter.com”, and “fizzle.com”. They’re already taken.)

No, I’ve been going to my dumb ol’ waiter job regularly, and returning home only to be inundated by marketers’ newsletters in my inbox announcing the latest, exciting “launch” of some such thing or another; and, like a candle to a flame, I dive blindly in, sometimes actually grabbing the bait, other times just wishing I could afford to.

Many of the free downloads I receive are actually very informative and helpful to my plans for making money on the Web, and I’ve found a folder I can shove a lot of these into. Now all I need is to actually implement their ideas, and perhaps even review them for others’ edification.

Yesterday I took on a proofreading job, and ACTUALLY GOT PAID FOR IT!

There’s the positive news I was talking about! That opened up some avenues for me that I had only seen as dark alleyways in the past. It would seem there are some very shiny and colorful windows down there! What’s that you say? You’re not liking my brand of allegory? Okay, so go elsewhere! It’s here to stay! James Joyce and I are like this: (index-finger over ring-finger.)

John Lucero’s showing his 3D artwork in a gallery in Fullerton. I pulled his website down and ported it over to a different webhost. In the meantime, I placed a “We’ll be back shortly…” page so that I can re-work the site and remove prices from the 3D work so as not to compete with the gallery owner.

I want desperately to get back to SpellRIGHTNOW.com, and YourMotherShouldKnow.com, and make them into something worthwhile. I would also like to get all of those TurboNichesa up-and-running, as long as I have the autoresponder services.

All of these wants and desires have to be delayed even more however, because I’m forced to move now. I won’t go into the details, but I need to find a place. I want to remain in Laguna Beach, but everything is pretty darned expensive!

Okay, so I rambled a bit, left you all wondering about all sorts of things, didn’t make any reference to any supplemental information, and really wasn’t all that positive either.

I’ll have to come back after my dumb ol’ waiter job and try it again to see if I can get it right.
